Jungle & Tropical Survival
More and more people are heading for the extremely remote areas of the tropical world. Southeast Asia, Central America, South America and Africa are increasingly popular areas for business explorers, researchers, educators, adventurers and tourists.

Jungle environments, though relatively friendly to one's survival, present a unique set of challenges for visitors. ERI's training programs explain the real problems and threats found in the tropics and dispel the exaggerated, misleading and false information common in the literature and often dramatized by the entertainment industry.

Another major concern, of course, is that many of the world's kidnappings occur in tropical areas. Though not a huge issue compared to the number of travelers, an understanding of the what to watch for and how to react is an invaluable skill to make travel more relaxing.
