Montana Aviation '08
The Aeronautics Division promotes aviation safety by offering various training and education programs, including the annual Surratt Memorial Winter Survival Clinic. The clinic is funded in part by the Surratt family in memory of Terry Surratt, who survived an airplane crash in 1991 but died from hypothermia.
This action packed two+ day event is a great way to learn to live with winter's challenges, instead of fearing what might happen if stranded in Montana's extreme winter conditions.
