Global Survival Training
Our academic and practical hands-on training in survival has become the standard for training outdoor leaders, high risk occupations, and adventurers for over three decades. We provide courses to aviators, aircrews, passengers, agency and corporate employees, SAR volunteers, outdoor enthusiasts and individuals interested in gaining important self-reliance skills. ERI's staff is extremely skilled and globally trained in all environments of the globe. ERI is well suited to develop training to meet the interests and needs of any audience. Search & Rescue (SAR) Training
Our classroom and practical hands-on training in search and rescue sets the standard for SAR Coordinators, team leaders and searchers across the U.S. and over a dozen countries around the world. We provide regular courses to law enforcement training academies, volunteer search and rescue groups, land management agencies, university level students and government employees on basic, intermediate and advanced level field skills and management oriented SAR courses. Aviation Survival Training
ERI has vast experience in training the aviation community. We have consulted on aviation safety and survival equipment needs and have developed training programs for general, commercial, corporate, military and aviation associations. ERI courses address ditching, emergency landing and underwater egress, helicopter considerations, aviation physiology, traumatic and environmenal injuries and all aspects of global survival techniques. International Travel Security & Hostage Survival Training
According to the US Office of Travel & Tourism Industries, over 2 million US residents travel overseas every month. We venture into the world in pursuit of business, recreation and to visit friends on every continent of the world. Overall, international travel is safe and the majority of people return with excellent memories of the people they met along the way. However, today's world is a dynamic place. Several countries and regions of the world are less safe for the traveler and warrant extra concern and an understanding of several basic security measures to help insure their safety and well being. In addition, there is always a remote chance a foreigner might be taken hostage for a wide variety of reasons. Emergency Response International has a wealth of background and experience in both international travel and hostage survival training. Staff members have been training federal government employees and private citizens in the basics of safe international travel and hostage survival for many years. Emergency Management Planning & Preparedness
Our academic training in Emergency Preparedness Education for schoolteachers and the general public has been the standard in Washington State for over two decades. It has also been an integral part of many specialized outdoor education programs at the secondary and high school level. We provide courses to teachers working on their fifth year requirements, education majors at the university level, outdoor education camp staff and counselors, as well as special programs for the public at large. - Under Government Contract - ERI is a registered GSA Contractor.
- Sponsored Course - An organization (business, government agency, military unit, professional association, educational institution, non-profit, etc.) sponsors and pays for the cost of the program.
- Hosted Course - A "hosting" organization works with ERI to build a training program that is paid for from participant registrations and local sponsorship.
- ERI Public Offering - ERI occasionally offers Survival (Arctic, Cold Weather, Mountain, Hot Weather, Desert, Sea & Coastal, Tropical, etc.), SAR and Emergency Preparedness courses at various locations around the world.
